JDU to contest on all Assembly, Parliament seats in J&K | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 13: Janta Dal (United) State President G M Shaheen on Wednesday disclosed to contest on all the seats of upcoming Jammu and Kashmir state Assembly and Parliament elections in 2019. Shaheen after meeting with Governor Satya Pal Malik today briefed the media outside the Raj Bhawan Jammu that JDU is going to contest on all Assembly and Parliament elections in J&K under the leadership of JDU National President Nitish Kumar who has given full nods to participate in the upcoming Assembly and Parliament elections. "We have already asked the party leadership to gear up the election process and also asked them to reach every people of the state in every nook and corner to collect information about their problems and miseries and also to spread the policies and programs of JDU party so as to strengthening the party at grass roots level," he added. He further said, "Today i have called upon by Governor S P Malik again within a time of few days and discussed various issues related to peace process, development and other issues including upcoming elections 2019. He also appreciated the Governor for conducting smooth and fare elections in a transparent manner which had nothing be happened in the state of J&K since independence including his historical decisions and developments who had already briefed the media fraternity yesterday at Convention Centre Talab Tillo Jammu regarding development in J&K since Governor's Rule. |
