Poonch, Dec 13: Pensioners of Social Welfare Department in Mandi tehsil are without pensions for last four months and department is unmoved. Some pensioners have expressed their anguish over the carelessness of officials of concern department and said, all the verifications have done, but due to some unknown reasons department is not issuing their pensions.
Some pensioners namely Abdul Subhan, Abdul Kabir, Mohd Latief and many more in this regard have expressed their inability and said, "They have approached to the concern department a lot, but no one is listening them".
They said, many handicap, old ages, widows are dependent only on monthly pension but negligent governance of state make them disappointed.
They further said, even though they have approached to higher authorities of the concern department but all in vain as no one is available to listen them. They have appealed to governor Satya Pal Malik to provide monthly pension to them. |
