Jammu, Dec 23: Jammu and Kashmir Diplomacy Summit was held for the very first time in the state in K.C Public school with it's venue partner on 20th-21st of December with having almost 120 plus delegates in attendance from various schools & colleges of Jammu. The event saw a bunch of young and enthusiastic minds who were ready to bring a change in the world with their zeal and according to the rules of procedure, the Delegates engaged in discussions representing a country which was not their own, in the way a real diplomat would in the framework of any Conference. Students engaged in discussions, debated and negotiated in order to reach a generally agreed solution to the issues under discussion in various committees. Dr. Ram Thakur, Academic Director of KC Public School also enlightened the gathering with his motivational words.Event's president Mehul Yadav ,Vice President Hasit Sachdev and General Secretary Isha Khurana gave the delegates a experience with the best in the art of diplomacy and the purpose of this Conference was the sensitization of young people concerning global issues of political, humanitarian, cultural, developmental, and environmental interest. The Summit was concluded with a Closing and Awards Presentation Ceremony with special guests, Sanjeev Verma, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Rajesh Kumar, IGP, CRPF and Javaid Gillani ADG Vigilence, J&K Police graced the occasion with their presence and addressed Summit Delegates. |
