kathua, Dec 23: The Lok Seva Manch was constituted meeting under the chairmanship of Jagdish Singh(Ex. Sarpanch Amwala) at Dayalachak, tehsil Hiranagar.
Govind Ram Sharma, Yashpal Singh, Gathi Singh, Balwant Singh, Chuni Lal sharma, Ankush Sharma, Samer Singh Baldev Raj, Sohan Singh, Ganesh Dutt, Surinder Kumar and Kewal Singh were elected as the members of the Manch. The meeting expressed great resentment for ignoring the Kandi area of Billawar constituency. The Kandi area is facing great difficulties due to shortage of water, bad condition of the village roads and other basic issues.
During interactions people apprised LKSM about the problems faced by them on day to day basis such as scarcity of drinking water, electricity, bad conditions of roads, shortage of ration especially sugar, discrimination in allotments of funds in various schemes such as MNREGA, Widow /old age pension and many more. People also alleged that from past more than a year payments has not been made against the work executed under MNREGA.
The Manch has decided to work for the unity and welfare of the kandi area so that the problems are addressed. The Manch shall hold next meeting at Mahakali Mandir Jasrota to strengthen the Manch on 30th December, 2018 at noon. |
