JKNPP fast emerging as viable alternative in Jammu region: Harsh | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 23: Urging upon the people especially the youth of Ramnagar to gird up their loins for a decisive battle against the gross betrayals and failures of the erstwhile regime, Harsh Dev SinghChairman JKNPP and Former Minister said the public could no longer be duped and cajoled by the false assurances, fake promises and empty sloganeering. He said the BJP leadership having utterly failed to redeem any of its pre poll promises with its electorates having further been cheated on a host of other issues by the said party, the disappointment of masses had translated into anger and rage. He was addressing public meeting in Villages including Kirmoo, Marta and Sunetar of Tehsil Ramnagar. Speaking on the occasion, Harsh Dev Singh ridiculed the much proclaimed slogans of "corruption free government" and development and accused the govts, both centre and state, of failure on both the fronts. He said that there was no sign of development on the ground and corruption had become all pervasive. He said that there was hardly any visible sign of the govt with the only achievement of the aborted coalition rule being the pre-mature transfer orders of thousands of govt functionaries issued for extraneous considerations. Harsh Dev Singh said that while the PDP held the reins of govt during the last 3 ½ years with all major decisions taken by it unilaterally, the BJP Ministers were content with the two flags flying on their vehicles. He said that the BJP MLAs and Ministers had rendered themselves as objects of ridicule by their imbecility and second fiddle role in the govt. He said that gullible electorates who had been cajoled and mesmerized by the lofty slogans and false promises of the BJP during elections had recognized the real face and character of BJP and were anxiously looking for an alternative to teach the Saffron Party a lesson. |
