| Kidnapped minor recovered, accused arrested | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Jan 18: A kidnapped minor girl has been recovered and the accused arrested by Rajouri police district. Police spokesman said that two months ago, a man from a village of Darhal lodged a written complaint in Darhal police station and complained that his 17 years old daughter has been kidnapped by a boy namely Mohammad Shafiq of Dhangri area of Rajouri.
Acting on the complaint, a case under FIR no 87/2018 under sections 363 of RPC was registered and during the course of investigation the search of girl was conducted at multiple places, said spokesman.
He further said that today a team of police headed by Inspector Habib Ul Rehman-SHO Darhal raided a location in Rajouri during which the kidnapped girl has been recovered from Rajouri town area while accused has also been arrested. After legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her legal heirs while investigation has been started and questioning of accused is going on. |
