Jammu, Jan 18: Government Degree College R.S. Pura launched Voters' Awareness Week from 18th- 25th January, 2019 as a part of Celebration of 9th National Voters' Day under the supervision of Prof. Shivani Sharma, Convener, Electoral Literacy Club and guidance of Prof. Kalpana Kesar, Principal of the college. As part of the inaugural event, a pledge was taken by all the staff members teaching as well as non-teaching including a total of 160 students. Also awareness was created among the students to vote ethically irrespective of religion, race, caste and any other prejudices. |
