Poonch, Jan 21: As the March is near to approach, the power department has started unannounced power-cuts which add to the problems of people of Poonch during rains and winter.
Locals like Rahul, Amit, Rashid and others have said that Poonch is suffering a major power crisis as there are hours of powercuts other than the scheduled power cuts. They have also alleged that most of the government offices were using number of heaters which causes the voltage fluctuation. They also said that we had information that many people have linked the special lines with the involvement of linemen and other means.
They have requested the DC Poonch to interfere and inquire the loop holes in the department due to which common people are suffering. They have also appealed to governor to look into the problems. |
