Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha demand gallantry award for Neta Subhash Chandra Bose | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 21: Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha members in a single voice today demanded Neta Subhash Chandra Bose to be decorated with Param Vir Chakra and Bharat Ratan. Addressing a press conference at Jammu, National President Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha and a recipient of the National Gallantry award of Vir Chakra Col Tajendra Pal Tyagi said the Neta Subhash Chandra Bose constituted Azad Hind Sarkar of undivided India on 21st October 1943 and he himself was its Prime Minister and Defense Minister. The Azad Hind was recognized by 11 nations including Russia and Germany within 10 days. He added that Subhas Chandra led the Azad Hind army of 60000 soldiers and liberated Andaman on 30th December 1943 and Kohama on 14th April 1944. 26000 soldiers sacrificed their lives for this liberation. Hence, both Param Vir Chakra and Bharat Ratan should be awarded to Neta Subhash Chandra Bose. The state president of Jammu and Kashmir, Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Col Kishore Uppal said the organization is registered 18 years old and has branches in 22 state across the country. It is the largest non political NGO of the country devoted to national integration and revival of patriotism. |
