Jammu, Jan 21: The Advisor Governor Khurshid Ahmad Ganaie Chief Guest, inaugurated the most prestigious Cultural Heritage show "Aka Nandun" at Jammu. Khawaja Farooq Renzushah was Special guest on this prestigious function representing Spiritual Art of Sufiyat in Kashmir. Renowned cultural figure of Jammu Balwant Thakur, Abdal Mahjoor, Hasrat Gadda, Hattashi, Jhon Mohammad of Khan Kaha Panah Tral and other distinguished personalities were present. The programme was organized by Bhand theatre group directed by Shahjahan sahib and Aka Nandun written by Jenab Mohidin Aijaz. Khurshid Ahmad Ganaie Sahib appreciated this grand art of Kashmir and said that time has come to show case it to world. He said he will direct local cultural Academy to concentrate to promote this Art. He was so impressed with performance that token Gifts were awarded on spot for all artists as mark of honour. Renzushah also while speaking on occasion said that Akanandun was historical true story of the king & queen of one prestigious city. |
