Jammu, Feb 7: J&K Grameen Bank organized fifteen financial literacy awareness programmes in a day on the theme towards creating financial awareness in unbanked villages. The camps were organized in different unbanked villages of the Branch offices Arindardpora, Watapora, Tarathpora, Wilgam, Hygam, Othoora, Nadh, sumb, Mandi Sangwali, Simbal Camp, Simbal More, Mandi, Chandak, Surankote & Buffliaz under the Districts Bandipora, Kupwara, Baramulla, Samba, Kathua, Jammu, Rajouri & Poonch. The programmes were aimed to create financial awareness among the population of remote villages. The participation in these programmes is in hundreds. The staff teams of all these Branches solved the queries of the unbanked people and provided them the comprehensive financial solutions related to deposits, loans and other services like internet, mobile banking. Baldev Singh, Sarpanch Patyari, Sumb one of the chief guests, informed the gathering about developments in banking sector and latest schemes and also praises the remarkable efforts of Vipan Gupta, Head of the Department, Financial Inclusion & insurance Department who have done a tremendous towards making awareness among many unbanked villages in the whole J&K State. Branch Heads from Branch Offices, Arindardpora, Watapora, Tarathpora, Wilgam, Hygam, Othoora, Nadh, sumb, Mandi Sangwali, Simbal Camp, Simbal More, Mandi, Chandak, Surankote & Buffliaz, addressed the gathering and detailed them regarding the schemes of the Bank. |
