| Traffic violators penalized in Kishtwar | | |

Kishtwar, Feb 7: In a drive launched against traffic rules violations, 5596 vehicles were challaned, 553 vehicles were seized, 8 driving licenses were suspended and 35 FIR were lodged at police station Kishtwar.
Moreover fine to the tune of Rs. 1426300 was also imposed on the traffic violators in last one year. The district police alongwith MVD Department & Traffic Police has laid special nakas at various points and has also started patrolling in and around Kishtwar town.
SSP Kishtwar Rajider Gupta said that traffic violators are directly/ indirectly responsible for causing fatal road accidents leading to the loss of precious lives. |
