Four years imprisonment, fine to two real brothers | Fake certificates for job | | Jammu, Feb 7: Principal Sessions Judge Kathua Sanjeev Kumar Gupta today awarded four years imprisonment and fine of Rs 40,000 each to Abdul Qayoom & Bashir Ahmed both sons of Mohd Abdullah who got govt jobs on fake certificates. According to the Crime Branch, a written complaint was received from Vice President, BJP Mandal, Lowang alleging that accused persons had managed fake qualification certificates to get government service. On receipt of the said complaint, a preliminary verification (PV) was initiated, during the course of which offences U/Ss 420/467/468/471 RPC were made out against the accused, which led to the registration of case FIR No. 08/2011 in the matter by the Crime Branch, Jammu. Principal Sessions Judge Kathua Sanjeev Kumar Gupta sentenced the convicts to undergo four years imprisonment and fine of Rs. 40 thousand for the offenses U/Ss 420/467/468/471 RPC. |
