Jammu, Feb 7: Consequent upon the acceptance of the representations of Syed Tawqeer Ahmad (District Judge) and Muzaffar Iqbal Khan (Sub Judge) seeking voluntary retirement from the service, Following transfers and postings were affected in the judiciary.
According to the order, Tawqeer Ahmad, Principal District & Sessions Judge/ Anantnag is transferred and attached to the Srinagar wing of the High Court till such time the recommendation for his voluntary retirement from the service is accepted by the State Government; Mohammad Ashraf Malik, President District Consumer Forum, Srinagar is repatriated and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Anantnag vice Syed Tawqeer Ahmad; and Muzaffar Iqbal Khan, Secretary, District Legal Service Authority, Rajouri is transferred and attached to the Jammu wing of the High Court till such time the recommendation for his voluntary retirement. |
