JAMMU, Feb 10: The members of NGO 'Jiyo Aur Jeene do' organized an awareness camp at their Head office in which people were apprised of various Beneficiary schemes that have been launched by the Government of India. While speaking about the programme, the President of NGO Tariq Shah said, ''Our NGO keeps on organising such awareness camps to provide information to the people regarding government schemes. Unfortunately most the people are not able to make any benefit out of such schemes due to lack of information. Many People also filled the golden Labour Card which also provides benefits under different schemes". Besides information of various schemes, people were also provided woollen clothes and other useful material. In this climate with the decrease in temperature people living in far flung areas are actually in need of warm clothes. The NGO have been distributing woollen clothes among such needy families since last few years. We thank all for contributing in this.People were provided other necessary items also. Along with President, Sahil, Krishna, Sanjay, Ritu Priya, Anju Devi, Sheela, Kamlesh, Rakesh and others were present. |
