Jammu, Feb 10: Dogri and Hindi writer Yashpaul Nirmal was awarded with the Sarv Bhasha Samman 2018 in a simple but impressive function at K. L. Saigal Hall, Jammu. In this function Dr. Drakshan Andrabi, Honourable Chairperson, Central Waqf Development Committee, ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India was the chief Guest. Prof. Archana Kesar, Ex HOD Dogri Department and Ex Dean Jammu University presided over the function. While Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, secretary Kala Kender Society and Additional Secretary J&k Academy of art culture and languages was the special guest. Earlier Yashpaul Nirmal welcomed the audience, writers and dignitaries. Keshav Mohan Pandey, organizer Sarv Bhasha Trust, New Delhi throws Light on the works and programs of SBT. He told that in more than 36 languages they are working. A trimonthly magazine is published by the trust. He also announced the State unit of Sarv Bhasha Trust in jammu. Dr Manoj Tiwari Jee, senior vice president, Sarv Bhasha Trust, New Delhi talked about the life and works of Yashpaul Nirmal. He also talked about the aim and objectives of Sarv Bhasha Trust.
