| PDP, NC ignore Chenab Valley, Pir Panjal regions during their rule: MPEJ | | |

Jammu, Feb 10: Reacting sharply to the statements of Mehbooba Mufti as also NC Vice President Omar Abdullah regarding grant of Divisional Status to the Chenab Valley & Pir Panjal regions, if they are voted to power in the ensuing Assembly elections, Ram Singh Chauhan & Kuldeep Kumar Rao, the active members of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice, in a joint statement issued here have severely criticized both Omar Abdullah & Mehbooba Mufti for their apathetic approach towards both these regions during their tenure holding the reins of power in the state. The duo maintained that it is only that both Omar Abdullah & Mehbooba Mufti have developed milk in their breasts for the sympathy of Pir Panjal & Chenab valley with eyes on vote politics, when Governor Administration has fulfilled long pending demand of the people of Ladakh region by grant of Regional status to them which is a welcome step though very late. They further said & added that NC of Abdullah's is responsible for denial & sabotaging the burning demand of people of Chenab Valley & Pir Panjal.
It is the first time that a sitting Cabinet Ministers of Jammu region Ch. Lal Singh & Sham Lal Sharma have shown the courage to raise the issue of Kashmir centric policies of New Delhi on the cost of aspiration of the people of Jammu and Ladakh. |
