| Deputation of Kashmiri migrants calls on Relief Commissioner | | | | Jammu, Feb 11: A deputation of Kashmiri migrants led by its Chairman/ President Er. Romesh Chander Mahajan and called on Relief Commissioner (Migrants ) Canal road Jammu. The deputation submitted a memorandum of demands. As per press release, the demands were including installation of EPIC card printing machine at Migrant Election Office as well as at all Zonal Relief camps offices of Jammu regions , Delhi and other states of country for issuance of EPIC card to eligible voter , so that the maximum participation of all migrants community is to be ensured in elections to elect their members in Centre ( parliamentary ) as well as State level (Assembly) . To restoration the properties by declaring distress sale null and void and further demanded to collect data from displaced Kashmiri peoples and make assessment of losses by demolished , damaged by floods and devastation of properties records under custody of Relief Deptt., so that Kashmiri migrant may not be deprived of the properties right in future and immediate implement the PM Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojana to the beneficiaries who are enrolled and falls in this categories to all Kashmiri migrants. Release of ex-gratia and compensation with their earning losses and losses by flood from 1990 and insurance to migrants traders and devastated of commercial goods and business closed in Kashmir valley due to effects of migration from 30 years of exile. |
