USTA flays Govt for not redressing issues | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 11: A meeting of J&K United School Teachers Association (USTA) held under the Chairmanship of Hari Singh provincial president, the meeting takes strong exception to the lip services of State Government towards the long pending demands of teachers working under Samagra. The assurances given by the State Administration from time to time have turned out to be nothing but hoax. But to talk of immediate regularization and providing all amenities of regular employees they are being deprived of the wages even for months together. Recently issued orders by State Government in this regard is mysteriously silent as for as under graduate teachers under the scheme are concerned as if they are not part and parcel of the deprived lot. USTA calls upon the state government to take unambiguous position viz a viz all categories of such teachers and ensure timely payment of wages on the last day of the month itself. Online request for transfer policy of the state government remains merely a paper work whereas ground situation is same old story of delaying tactics, adu and status co, if the policy is not implemented on ground it will remain a mare preposition as and when code of conduct for parliamentary elections comes into force. It is therefore imperative that state government ensures implementation of online request without any further delay by implementing transfer policy. |
