| Raina flays Govt for continuing Chakawala Bag LOC trade | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 21: In an extraordinary meeting of president people forum Poonch strongly denounces the decision of the state Government to continue Chakawala bag LOC trade.
Sanjay Raina Advocate lambasted both state and central Govt. that even the ash of Martyers is still hot, the vested interest started the plying of vehicles. People forum warned the Administration that cross border trade has fetched the hawala money and fanning of antinational feelings in the region.
A group of politicians and bureaucracy apart from trade mafia are involved in this kind of barter trade. Cross LOC trade is a boon for traders as it is tax and duty free. Large no. traders have amassed huge wealth and their activities are unchecked.
NIA already booked 303traders and recommended closure of the cross LOC trade. Alas Govt. Of India and state government failed to stop the ongoing trade reasons best known to them. After the martyerdom CRPF personnel the awakening calls to the Govt. but in vain. Both cross border bus and trade is detrimental to National security and National interest ,its stoppage is must otherwise Govt. Will reap very serious consequences. Sanjay Raina also said mere rhetorics on martyerdom would not suffice, time for action has come otherwise Govts. credibility to act is at stake.
Acting tough on all fronts is need of the hour closing cross border trade would be one of the measures to instill faith in the hearts and minds of the people of this country. Already awakening call has come, let the Govt. Of J and rise from the slumber and book all those involved in anti National activities be it trade or elsewhere. |
