| Illegal construction of school building continues as ED fails to implement HC order | | |  Early Times Report
Poonch, Mar 2: Despite court orders, the construction work of a Primary School building at Kalani continues unabated.
The Education department Poonch seems to have failed in implementing HC order seeking a halt on the construction.
Pertinent to mention the construction of the building was started by some miscreants at Kulani.
It is pertinent to mention here that Education Department selected the land for construction of school building and same was approved by compitent authority and Revenue department in the year 2012 but till date no construction work was started.
In the meanwhile some miscreants started the construction work in some other places for which the land owner of selected site sought judicial intervention and got a stay over construction of illegal school building . Hc issued an order on 06-02-2019 in OWP 186/2019 IA NO 01/2019 for immediate halt of construction work being illegely started in mohalla Khokhran of village Kulani. The same order were also circulated to SSP Poonch and SHO Mandi beside Education department but till date no action has been taken to implement the order of the High court. |
