AKHNOOR, Mar 2: Shubh Memorial International School, Akhnoor celebrated Graduation ceremony acknowledged their pre-wing students in the form of Graduation Day with a gracious passing out ceremony of all tiny tots who have spent their initial year of life in school. Little, toddles were seen excited on passing out from class pre to Grade-I and receiving their degrees in black gowns and smart caps. The programme commenced by traditional lightning of lamp by the Chief Guest Sham Lal Sharma , Ex. Cabinet Minister, J&K and the Guest of Honour Tariq Hussian, Chief Coordinator Private School Association, J&k , Principal Shilpa Mahajan and Chairman Sumit Sharma. Speaking on the occasion Sham said that we must try to develop the sense of patriotism in children. Today's children are the citizens of tomorrow. So, it is necessary to develop extreme patriotism among children right from early days. "We have to strike a balance in a way that curricular and extra-curricular activities go hand-in-hand and young children enjoy their childhood while studying", he added. Sharma urged that teachers must try to stimulate students to create a hunger for learning and to expand their success in life. Teachers should be obligated to the need for the student's individuality.
