JAMMU, Mar 2: Keeping in view the war like situation, a day-long awareness-cum-demonstration campaign was organized by Civil Defence Jammu here today at Government College for Women Parade to aware the students and staff. In the awareness camp, the students and teaching staff were made aware about the knowledge of First Aid (CPR, Chocking), Fire fighting, Air raid precautions and take safety measures during prevailing situation in the State by the Civil Defence instructors. The camp was conducted under the supervision of Shashi Thakur, DySP, Dy Controller Civil Defence Jammu, Paramjeet Kumar, Chief Warden, R Vijay Mangotra, Dy Divisional Warden, along with Civil Defence Instructor Parshotam Kumar and Ct Rajinder Kumar.
While speaking on the occasion Dy SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu, highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization during prevailing situation in the state and delivered a valuable lecture on the topic of Disaster Management. |
