| Authorities indifferent to dilapidated Mandi-Fatehpur road | | |

Poonch, Mar 10: Mandi to Fatehpur, Seri-Khawaja road is in dilapidated condition and the Department of Public Works (R&B) is in deep slumber. According to the sources, Mandi to Fatehpur road is dilapidated and department is not doing the much needed repair.
Locals informed that, even though they have taken up the matter with the district authorities repeatedly, nothing has been done.
Mohd Irshad, a local of Fatehpur informed that 8 kilometer road from Mandi to Fatehpur was macadamized in 2014 and has not been restored to this day. He said road from Fatehpur to Haribudha is also to be macadamized and government should take the matter seriously. He has appealed to governor Satya Pal Malik to direct concerned authorities to take up the matter for public welfare. |
