Kathua, Mar 10: In a major success against narco smuggling, team of Police Station Kathua seized 9 quintals of poppy straw. Police spokesman said that Police team of Police Station Kathua under the directions of Inspector Arvind Sambyal-SHO Kathua during checking duty near housing colony Shiva nagar seized 9 quintals of poppy straw packed in 37 bags being smuggled in the truck bearing registration number JK02V-8927 registered in the name of Mohd Javed of Seela Reasi. "Police team seized the narcotics along with truck and registered a case under FIR No. 82/19 under sections 8/15/18 NDPS Act," said spokesman.
This is major recovery in the series in campaign war on drugs launched by
Kathua Police with the help of citizens. |
