| Youth Congress hails appointment of Azad as chairman Election panel | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 10: Youth Congress leaders have expressed their gratitude to Congress President Rahul Gandhi for appointing Ghulam Nabi Azad as chairman of the election management and campaign committee.
The youth Congress leaders including Pankaj Basotra, Dr Sahil Sharma state vice presidents, Chetan Wanchoo, Nimrandeep Singh bhullar state general secretaries, Birender partap Singh, Mehbob Hussian, Ankush Raina state secretaries, Vishu Sharma, Sushil bhagat beside others.
The youth congress leaders said Azad's tenure as CM of Jammu and Kashmir is historic. People still remember the good work done by Azad as CM and Union Health Minister which includes sanctioning of colleges, districts, hospitals, universities, roads and several projects.
They said that under the leadership of Azad, Congress won 20 seats in 2004. After which the state had got the first Chief Minister of Jammu as Azad. He was the seventh Chief Minister of the state and the first Chief Minister of the Congress. Nobody can compete with the development of the state during Azad's tenure as Chief Minister. |
