Jammu, Mar 14: Jammu Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Parchar Samiti, Jammu today held a book release function here at K.L. Sehgal Hall, JACK Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Jammu.
A Book entitled "Sangam" by Sumeet Sudan was released on the occasion. O.P. Sharma Vidhyarthi IFS Environmentalist, Poet and Writer was the Chief Guest while S. Pritpal Singh Betab, IAS presided over the function. Dr. Arvinder Singh Aman, Additional Secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages was the Guest of Honour.
Deedar Singh, President J&K Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti said that Jammu Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Parchar Samiti is a literary organization which is working for the promotion of the literature and writers of the national language and regional languages.
The introductory paper about the book was presented by writer Dr Sunita Badwal, Sameet Sudan gave a brief description of the book and recited few poems. Prof Bharat Bhushan Sharma General Secretary Samiti briefed about the activities of the Samiti and conducted the programme. Literary personalities', prominent writers, poets, citizens and family, friends were also present on the occasion. |
