| People of Balakote rue poor communication facility | | | MS Nazki

Balakote, Mar 21: In digital times when need of the hour is to be contacted every sphere of life people of Balakote in subdivision Mendhar rue the poor communication facility sources said here today.
Several villages in Balkote sector including Ramlutta , Dharati , Panjani , Sohala , Dabbi , Dhagaloon , Bassoni and other adjacent hemlets have poor networking hence people of these villages face many problems to contact each other. Balakote sector being close to LoC witness border skirmishes usually and during shelling and indiscriminate firing from across the border people need to remain in each others contact but poor networking in the area doesnot serve their purposes.
Earlier we had installed BSNL telephones in the area which were not functional now for obvious reasons, the fate of mobile connectivity of other telecom companies also hangs in the balance said Balakote Youth front chairman Zaheer Ahmed Khan adding that we have been demanding the favility of better communication for years now but our please fall to deaf ears , he added.
Meanwhile Sarpanch of Dharati Panchayat while talking to Early Times said that he had put the matter with Governor and Div com Jammu but nothing was done in this regard. He urged for installation of more towers in the area on priority so that communication facility could made better and people wont face difficulties any longer in communication scenario, he added. |
