Unity of Jammu province is in nation's interest: Ch Lal Singh
3/21/2019 10:15:55 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 21: Calling upon the Jammuites to preserve their unity in diversity by identifying themselves with their larger identity of Dogras, the Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan (DSS) chairman Choudhary Lal Singh said that it is the only way to maintain our age old heritage.
While addressing rallies at Ramban, Banihal, Ramsoo Batote, Doda and Bhaderwah areas, Choudhary Lal Singh said that we are Dogras which brings all faith and religions including Hindu, Musims, Sikhs, Bodh, Jains all together and make our province stronger. Our unity is the befitting reply to the political parties inimical to our brotherhood, he remarked. While lambasting upon NC and Congress, he said that it sounds incredulous that on one side they are contesting against one another but in Jammu province, NC is supporting Congress, which speaks double standard of the both the parties. Both these parties are frustrated to see the growing unity of Dogras and now taking last resort to divide us, which will not yield any result.
The people of Jammu province can no more be taken for a ride and cannot be hoodwinked by these cheap and unethical gimmicks just to ensure division in the society. On the occasion many panchs and Sarpanchs joined Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan and pledged their full support to its candidate.
Lal Singh further said that victory of Dogras in this election is going to be a game changer and its voice and agenda in the parliament, will give a strong rebuff to the valley based pro- separatists ideologues. Kamal Saini, IGP (Retd) and senior leader of DSS also spoke on the occasion and said that Lal Singh is most experienced and visionary leader in the present political spectrum of the state and he can only pull Jammu out of the present political morass.
