MNP holds election meeting, discusses poll preparedness | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Mar 21: Manvadhikar National Party (MNP) held a party meeting organized by its Kashmir unit at its party office here today. The meeting discussed preparation and arrangements for ongoing Parliamentary elections. State President Sanjay Dhar, State General Secretary Organization, Vinod Kumar Pandita and I/C State Vishal Jotshi who are on a detailed election tour of Kashmir valley attended the meeting and deliberated upon the ongoing Lok Sabha elections and ways and means of campaigning for its candidates. The meeting was also attended by a large number of party workers and office bearers of Kashmir province. While addressing the gathering, the state party leaders impressed upon the workers and office bearers to start election activities for their candidates from Baramulla, Srinagar and Anantnag Lok Sabha seats vigorously. The leaders also urged party workers to take the policies and programmes of MNP among masses expeditiously as the party is going to play a big role in the politics of Jammu and Kashmir in coming times. Besides this, many deputations led by MNP district presidents of Kashmir met the party leaders and assured their sincere cooperation for all the three parliament candidates nominated by the party. State vice president Manzoor Ahmed Mir, Abdul Rahman, Kefayat Sofi, Nazir Ahmad Sofi, Altaf Hussain, F Hussain, Showkat Ali and many other senior leaders also spoke on the occasion.
