Rajouri, Mar 21: A Pujaa Archana, Hawan, Ramayana Path and Langer was organised by Dr Ram Chander Sharma Sarpanch Siot Rajouri at his residence Siot on the occasion of sacred festival Holi to pay homage to CRPF Jawans martyred in Pulwama terror attack and all people killed in Jammu and Kashmir conflict and prayers were held for peace and prosperity of State and world. Hundreds of villagers offered prayers. A langer Prashad was offered by Sarpanch. All the Panchayat members vowed to bring development, liquor and corruption free, and to save the forests, cleanliness, education of children, payment of old age, widow and handicap pensions in the village. Sarpanch appealed to Governor Administration to order three tier systems in PRIs and immediate direct transfer of funds to Panchayats as till now the Panchayats are powerless with no development funds. This is mockery of PRIs. |
