| Institute Overseas Employment Agency, Assad to Govt | | | Early Times Reporter

General Secretary PDP Youth Wing Bashir Assad today demanded setting up of an "Overseas Employment Agency" in the state which would be entrusted the job of identifying the employment avenues for the skilled and unskilled educated unemployed state-subjects in the Gulf and other Arabic and Western countries.
In a statement issued here today Bashir Assad said that educated unemployed youth of the state were looking forward for earning bread and butter honorably out side the country and there was a good number of technocrats and other skilled, semiskilled and unskilled educated youth who are wondering hither and thither in search of information regarding the employment avenues available overseas an that sometimes they are being mislead by the private enterprises. Therefore it was imperative that the state government constitutes an overseas employment agency in order to provide the aspirants necessary information and facilitate liaison between the employee and the overseas employer.
Bashir Assad revealed that a proposal to this effect was mooted by PDP Patron Jenab Mufti Muhammad Sayed when he was heading the coalition government but could not be translated into action due to change of guard in the state. |
