| J&K Fire & Emergency services organises awareness programme | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 16: The J&K Fire & Emergency Services, organized a fire safety awareness programme in the Jammu University on here today as a part of Fire Services Week being observed throughout the country.
Besides conducting a demonstration of Fire Fighting appliances, high tech Disaster Management equipment and Rescue Tools were displayed for the familiarization the students. The Bronto Sky Lift was operated to show how trapped persons are rescued. The Director General, Fire & Emergency Services J&K, V K Singh- IPS, accompanied the Vice Chancellor Jammu University Prof. M. K. Dhar and Dean Students Welfare Prof. Shalinder on Bronto Sky Lift during the operation. The Vice Chancellor Jammu University appreciated the efforts of the department in creating fire safety awareness amongst the student community and hoped the department will continue the endeavor in future also. |
