| JU-Jitsu team bring laurels to state | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 16: J&K State Ju-Jitsu Team won 5 medals 2 Gold,2 silver and 1 B ronze m die 4th National Ju-Jitsu Championship. This Championship was held at centre for sports science, Ramchandra Medical University campus poror Chennai. This championship was organized by Tamil Nadu Ju-Jitsu association under the Aegis of Ju-Jitsu Association of India in which 400 students participated from various States.
Ina Dhar won Gold in Kalarippayattu, Anirudh Verma won Gold Medal, Koushal Garg and Ayushi Raina won silver medal and Rajesh Singh won Bronze medal. Danish Sharma qualified as national referee in fighting system and duo system and Harsh Vardhan Raina qualified as national referee in Newaza, Jui-Jitsu event. The aforementioned winners were honoured by Sujit Kumar IPS, DIG Jammu, Samba, Kathua range in presence of Vishal Dhar Sr vice president of the association and Tarsem Sharma General Secretary/Executive board member of Ju-Jitsu association of India. |
