| Dilapidated Mandi-Poonch road irks passengers, transporters | | |

Poonch, Apr 16: Although government is claiming to provide proper road connectivity but the roads across the state narrate story of official neglect. The situation is equally bad in Poonch as all roads are in dilapidated condition. Mandi to Poonch road is one example of official neglect. Areas including Loran, Mandi and Sathra and other areas of Sawjian also suffer for want of proper roads.
Locals from different areas told Early Times that the matter was taken up with the concerned authorities without results.
The locals have appealed to Governor Satya Pal Malik to take notice of the matter and get the roads repaired. |
