| Lone water tanker of PHE Deptt defunct since 4 months | | | M S Nazki

Poonch, Apr 16: Lone water tanker of PHE department supplying water three tehsils of sub division Mendhar has fallen defunct in the campus of the department for the last 4 months adding more fuel to the problems of people sources said here today. They said Mendhar subdivision including Balakote and Mankote have been facing water crisis very severely. Only one water taenker of PHE Department would to be pressed into service to supply drinking water to the locals during crisis times. But unfortuntaley that lone tanker too has been fallen defunct for the last over 4 months yet no measures were taken by the men at helm to repair it or make any other arrangement to provide drinking water to the people they added. It is pertinent to mention if department could have taken pains the tanker could have been sent for repairs to workshop and till then private tanker could have been pressed into sevice to mitigate the need of people but unfortunately non such move was made. Mendhar Youth Club Chairman Advocate Nadeeem Khan has urged CE PHE Jammu to make arrangements for water supply to local and repair the defunct water tanker of the department for larger interest of guilible public , he added. |
