Inter district meet organised on Baisakhi festival | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Apr 17: In order to restore cultural activities among people and to create a sense of preservation of fading literary interest for new generation, an inter district meet was held on Baisakhi festival at Govind Nagar, Udhampur. The session was presided by Subhash Chander Sharma, BJP parbhari Chanani Udhampur. In the first session, a detailed discussion on literary field was took up and reviewed in which leading literary cum cultural groups information of the area was figured. Kusum Sharma an educationist apprised of latest literary and cultural scenario and other aspects. She told that area is full of skill and talent and need to be exposed by stakeholders including govt efforts. She further elaborates that promotion of such literary and cultural activities means saviour of languages and diversion of the youth towards moral values. Rampaul Dogra who was the special invitee from Jammu said exchange of cultural material and information with each other definitely penetrate a good message of working together in this direction. Some literary books were also exchanged to enhance the readership habits were appreciated by present poets & writers. Kusam Sharma antra presented her beautiful gaazal on behalf of udhampur. While Rampaul Dogra recited a Dogri poem and song highlighted the importance of our mother language Dogri. |
