| DC Kishtwar meets Dadpeth fire victims | | |

KISHTWAR, Apr 20: Deputy Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana today visited village Dadpeth where seven shops and three residential houses were gutted in a devastating fire, last night.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Tehsildar Chatroo, Prevaiz Ahmed, General Secretary Red Cross Kishtwar, Asgar Ali Sheikh, Sarpanchs besides concerned Officers.
The team of officers met locals and the family members of affected families.
The DC directed the concerned officials to provide adequate and timely compensation to the fire victims for the damaged property.
He also directed Tehsildar Chatroo to submit detailed report of losses at an earliest.
The DC further advised the people to dump dry fodder/hay away from their houses to avoid any untoward fire incident in future. |
