Soz endorses statements of Poonawalla, Swara Bhaskar | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 20: Prof. Saifuddin Soz, Former Union Minister said that Advocate Tahseen Poonawalla and film actress Swara Bhaskar have rightly asked the judiciary to summon Praghya Thakur, the Maleygaon terror accused, back to the jail as she has violated the judicial order. As per press release, Soz said that by fielding terror accused as a candidate for the Lok Sabha from Bhopal, the country will see PM Modi and Amit Shah in extremely poor light as they have shown scant respect to the judicial process by fielding a proved terrorist as a candidate from Bhopal. Pragya Thakur, now on bail for health reasons, has already spent seven years in jail against the prosecution lodged by NIA against her for her involvement in Malegaon blast killing 7 innocent persons on spot. The knowledgeable political analysts feel disappointed that the Gujarat duo have caused a deep wound to the social fabric of India. Fortunately, the bright side of the Modi narrative on communal and sectarian lines, has provoked a strong reaction from all parts of India, especially in Uttar Pradesh, where Dalits, Yadavs, Jats, minorities and other backward sections have come together to form a formidable alliance against the BJP. Needless to say that apart from the southern and many other states in the country, UP and Bihar are posing a real threat to the BJP." |
