New Delhi, Apr 21: Voice of Dogras organised a musical evening in New Delhi. The lead artists in the event were popular Dogra singers and event was attended by well known Dogras living in Delhi.
Jitendra Singh Dogra a famous Ghazal and Sufi singer mesmerised the audience with Dogri and Hindi Ghazals. Radhika Chopra, a Duggar nightingale, enchanted the audience with Dogri, Pahadi and Hindi singing.
Popular Kathak dancer Manju Wazir, another Dogra, performed on a thumri and charmed the audience with her dance, style and expressions.
The event was attended by more than 150 Dogras, living in Delhi NCR. Voice of Dogras Director Lalit Sharma told that the event is to promote Dogriyat, celebrate our people, culture and encourage meeting of the Dogra community. |
