JKRETTF announces state-wide protest call on April 25 | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Apr 21: Delay tactics in the transition process from Rehabar- e -Taleem teacher into teacher grade II and pending salaries despite an assurance from the administration has forced the teachers to come on the roads again, the spokesman of the association said. In a press statement, the Jammu Kashmir Rehabar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKRETTF) has announced statewide protest call on April 25, to press their demands before the administration. This protest call was given by the forum in an executive meeting held at Srinagar in which all state district and zonal representatives of the forum participated. During the meeting, the state chairman of the forum FA Tantary said that thousands of teachers including enhanced graduates, undergraduates and un-regularized ReT teachers are still waiting for their transition into teacher grade II. He said that ReT and head teachers are without salaries from months. The spokesman added that bills of three months of salaries are pending in state treasury. Forum has announced the protest call on April 25, in both the capitals of the state in press enclave Srinagar and at in press Club Jammu to press their demands before the state administration. |
