| Reasi people resent exorbitant charges at Ban Toll Plaza | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 1: The people of Reasi have expressed grave concern over the high Toll charges at Ban Toll Plaza. A deputation of locals from Reasi demanding review of the toll rates has submitted a memorandum to the Divisional Commissioner. The people said that they approached the district Reasi administration several times to put forward their demand but no attention was paid towards the issue. So they finally decided to approach the Divisional Commissioner and seek his support to solve the problem being faced by them.
In their memorandum, the Reasi people made the submission that they are paying high toll rates despite of the fact that they use only 8 kms and not using full stretch of Highway as compared to other vehicles coming from Udhampur but are forced to pay same amount of money as others are paying adding that it is a matter of deep concern as the highway authorities increase rates every year which pinches the pocket of a common man. |
