JAMMU, May 3: The State Unit of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) organized a function in connection with the Raising Day of INTUC here today at its office. The Raising Day function was held under the chairmanship of Shiv Kumar Sharma, the State President of INTUC -J&K State, Narinder Sharma (State Secretary Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee) also attended as guest of Honour. Senior INTUC Leader Thakur Raghubir Singh Chib presided over the function. Several other INTUC leaders and workers attended the function. On this occasion rich tributes were paid to the visionaries who founded this organization on May 3,1947 and their contributions for the cause of the working class were recalled. While addressing the gathering, Shiv Kumar Sharma (State President) highlighted the objectives and role of INTUC for all round development of country. On the occasion, Shiv kumar Sharma projected demands, of the working class/state Employees and reiterated for their redressed at the earliest. He demanded regularization of all types of Daily Wagers/Casual worker in the J&K State, Allot sufficient place of displaced Reharhi & Pharhi Vendors at appropriate spots etc. |
