Mendhar, May 3: Press Council of Mendhar today celebrated "World Press Freedom Day at Mendhar.
Speaking on the occasion, President of PCM MS Nazki emphasized that the journalists should enjoy maximum freedom in terms of expressing the truth. He advised the journalists to work towards preserving the freedom of speech.
Emphasizing on the need to protect the freedom of journalists, he said, "Despite working under pressure in places like border areas reporters have maintained higher standards of professionalism". |
