| HC stays selection for GGDC lecturer | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 13: The J&K High Court on Monday stayed the process for selection of lecturer for the post of Oral Medicine & Radiology (GGDC-Jammu).
The court direction came in a petition filed by Imran Malik seeking stay of operation of the notification No. 40-SC (DR-5) of 2019, dated April 25, 2019, by virtue of which the Public Service Commission issued select list for the post of lecturer Oral Medicine & Radiology (GGDC-Jammu) in clear violation of the High Court order March 23, 2018.
Justice Sanjeev Kumar, after hearing Advocate Abhinav Sharma for the petitioner, issued notice to the respondents and directed them to file objections within two weeks.
In the meantime, subject to objections from the other side and till next date of hearing, the operation of notification No. 40-PSC (DR-5) of 2019 dated 25.04.2019 shall stay. |
