Kishtwar, May 14: Following continuous complaints regarding overcharging by the Shopkeepers and vendors during the ongoing holly month of Ramadan, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana, today an intensive market checking was conducted on 2nd consecutive dat by the market enforcement team in Kishtwar town. The team of officers comprising Municipal Committee, CAPD, Legal Metrology and Police Department Kishtwar under the supervision of Tehsildar Kishtwar, Parmod Kumar conducted the market checking. During the market checking, rotten vegetables/ fruits/ over dated eatables destroyed on the spot. Besides, an amount of RS, 2000 (Rs.Two Thousand only) has been compounded as fine and realized from the defaulters on spot. Further, Strict instructions have been issued to the defaulters to maintain the hygienic condition and display rate list and other necessary documents at their shops. |
