| Ration dealer found involved in Illegal dumping of PDS sugar | | |
Doda, May 14: A joint team of Panachs and Sarpanch panchayat Behota headed by Sarpanch Mushtaq Ahmed, on receiving a complaint against two ration dealers, immediately swung in action and caught them supplying some bags of sugar to local shopkeepers illegally.
Although the team members contacted TSO, FCS&CA Tehsildar Marmat and Police post Marmat, but they delayed the matter. While inquiring the matter it was revealed that the sugar was dumped in food stores since six months. Most of dumped sugar was sold illegally and the remaining was being supplied to local shopkeepers.
After receiving numerous complaints from locals and panchayat members TSO Marmat informed AD FCS&CA Doda and sought a serious action against dealers namely Sayed Hussain and Bashir Ahmed, who were found involved in illigal dumping of PDS sugar, that was meant for public distribution for the month of Dec 2018. |
