| Anganwari centre shut, staff absent since six month | | |
Doda, May 16: Anganwadi centre at Kunghai, Road in Marmat tehsil of Doda district found closed since last more than six month.
Speaking to Early Times, local of the area complaint in a written said that, the said Anganwari centre was established in 2010 and closed since more than six months while more than 30 childerns enrolled in the centre are suffering. Locals alleged that, the posted worker and helper in the centre regulary absent from their duties due to which centre is non functional and become a hub of corruption and misappropriations. Simililarly same is the condition of other centres in whole area where most of the centre not functional.
Locals alleged that, the give provide huge quantity of ration for the centre but employees did not distributed among the childrens as it goes to their home directly as the childrens are only registerd attendence register. They complaint that, since long time no officer from concerned authrorities visited at the centre for inspection. |
