| Shocker ! NBE website shows Kashmir as Seperate State | | |
Srinagar: National Board of Examination has shown Kashmir and Jammu & Kashmir as separate states on its official website for the aspirants of MCH and DM- specialty course exams scheduled on June 28.
The NBE has invited online applications for the exams for eligible aspirants but the Valley aspirants have mistakenly selected their exam centres in Jammu as the website has shown Kashmir as a separate state.
“While filling online application, we clicked on J&K state option to select our centres in Jammu and Srinagar division but the website shows only Jammu based centres in J&K and has shown Kashmir as separate state,” said an aspirant.
Most of the aspirants from Kashmir valley have chosen their centre in Jammu as the examination board has divided J&K and Kashmir into two states.
“We presumed that this year they have not set up exam centre in Kashmir and we selected exam centres in Jammu. But later we saw that they have shown Kashmir as a separate state,” an aspirant said.
