JAMMU, May 22: In order to check the menace of traffic rules violations, a special drive against MV act violations was launched by the police of the Akhnoor.
As per details, Akhnoor Police under supervision of SDPO Akhnoor, Ajay Sharma launched a special drive against different types traffic violations including use of modified silencers in bikes, and others vehicles.
A team constitued from police sub division Akhnoor, multiple nakas were laid in the town . during checking a total of 66 vehicles were seized including 11 Enfield motorcycles. 101 vehicles were challaned totaling to 167 actions against MV act violators in 2 hours drive. Moreover public was educated about the traffic laws and regulations and their cooperation in general was sought.
